KentuckianaWorks, in partnership with Louisville Metro Government’s Office of Immigrant Affairs hosted a series of community roundtables designed to identify and develop resources needed to support refugee employment in our region. One of those resources was the How-To Guide for Refugee Employment Success.  

This guide is meant to provide clear information to help you begin your job search. It will be most helpful when used together with a caseworker or employment specialist at a refugee resettlement agency, but it can also help other newcomers to the U.S. who are looking for their first job and trying to understand how the employment process works.
