The KentuckianaWorks College Access Center (KCAC) manages the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) program. This program provides counseling and information on college admissions to qualified adults who want to start or continue their post-secondary education.

The KCAC also operates the Educational Talent Search (ETS) program in five Jefferson County high schools – Valley, Iroquois, Western, Fairdale, and Liberty – promoting college and career readiness for students in grades 9-12.

At least two-thirds of participants for both the EOC and ETS programs are low income and first generation college students.

The KCAC helped me with my financial aid and totally took the stress out of that process. They also helped me develop a plan for success that allowed me to focus on my academics. I wouldn’t have made it to college without their help.
— Latrice Doston, first in her family to attend college
