Forget Pokemon Go, 16-year-old Dominique Burrus spent his summer job developing websites for non-profit organizations, earning a paycheck and gaining work experience that has him thinking about a career path in technology as he continues school.
Dominique and other students at Valley High School formed their own tech company and earned wages as part of our annual SummerWorks jobs initiative, one of three groups of entrepreneur youth involved in the program this season. It was, he says, “very cool.”
